Nakagawa Shouko

I’m experimenting with uploading music. Normally I have my files either in 320k mp3, or Apple Lossless (m4a). When uploading, I usually end up compressing quite a lot, and removing the album cover, etc. It makes a 20MB file into like 1.5MB.

Anyways, don’t download the versions of these files I post for listening. They’re low-quality and badly-tagged.

UPDATE 10/23: Reuploading them to T35. Warning: These are only sample songs (only about 2 minutes long), go get the real versions. I’m sorry I couldn’t upload the whole song, T35 only lets me upload 1MB max files (and I don’t want to compromise quality… it’s already at 64kbps.)

I encoded happily ever after at 40kbps. Ended up with a 0.98 MB file, haha, perfect. Anyways, it’s not that big of a difference from, say, 128k (“CD quality”). I don’t think I can even tell 128k from 320k, hahaha~

Oh, I tried encoding it at 8kbps just for kicks. It’s pretty interesting, and it actually doesn’t suck that bad.

    So yeah, these are 64kbps versions… hopefully the quality isn’t too crappy.

    Something interesting: the album covers were 4MB out of like 5MB, hahaha.

    Nevermind on 8kbps not sounding “that bad”. It sounds pretty bad.
